[The Glasgow Baltic Research Unit archive]. [1919-2003]

The Glasgow Baltic Research Unit archive is based around materials donated by Professor John Hiden, Senior Honorary Visting Fellow in Baltic Studies at the Department of Central and East European Studies, University of Glasgow (2003-). The archive contains copies of British Foreign Office documents on the Baltic States and Scandinavia from the period between the two World Wars, as well as materials dealing with the early period of post-Soviet economic and political transformation and a virtually complete run of the Baltic Times newspaper, through its various incarnations, from 1988-2002.
